We were running behind and still had 2 hrs drive to the original camp spot we had found online, and then we happened upon this diamond! We pulled in at 9:30 pm with no reservation and there were still plenty of tent lots open. The sites are large and very well maintained. They have privacy fences around each spot with a light, but not too bright. And electric outlets, a picnic table, and a bbq at each site. There are also water spickets! The bathrooms are great! They are warm, clean, sanitized daily, well lit, and open 24 hrs. You can hear the traffic BUT, it's not so loud that it interferes with your sleep. It's right off of Interstate 70 and is close to a gas station, McDonald's, and a 24 hour store. I would definitely recommend coming here and if I ever get to come through this beautiful area again, I will be sure to stop in again. Oh, they have a pool folks! We came out of season but, it's still great! They also have an awesome playground for the kiddos, a dog walking area, and a store for your convenience 😁 You can't ask for anything better AND wait for it.....$31.50 is a steal!!
